Comps Tracker is built by a solo UK developer and designed with your privacy in mind. We collect only what's needed to make the app work, and we never sell your data.

What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

Email address — used to create your account and send essential service emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails.
Competition entry data — the counts, wins, and competition links you log in the app. This is stored securely in the cloud so you can access it across devices.
Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription, trial, or free plan. Used to determine which features you can access.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information beyond what's listed above.

How We Use Your Data

To provide cloud backup and sync of your competition data across devices
To manage your account and subscription
To send transactional emails you've requested (account confirmation, password reset)
To improve the app based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Supabase is compliant with GDPR and follows industry-standard security practices.

Transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) are sent via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a French email provider operating under EU data protection law.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please email us at [email protected] and we will remove it within 30 days.

Your Rights (GDPR)

As a UK or EU resident, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
Erasure — request deletion of your account and data
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
Object — object to processing of your data

Cookies & Local Storage

Comps Tracker uses browser local storage (not cookies) to store your competition data and session information on your device. This is essential for the app to function offline and remember your login. We do not use any advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

Supabase — database and authentication (Privacy Policy)
Brevo — transactional email (Privacy Policy)
Cloudflare Pages — app hosting (Privacy Policy)

Children's Privacy

Comps Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
